School begins at 8:15am. If you wish to have your child eat free breakfast, please have them here by 7:45am.
Students are dismissed at 2:40pm for a full day and at 12:20pm for a half day and should be picked up by a guardian promptly.
Our uniform policy is as follows: Navy blue pants/skirt/skorts, navy blue tights or socks, navy blue button down sweater/vest, navy blue or black shoes, kelly green uniform polos, navy blue sweatpants with t-shirt or or school sweatshirt and sneakers(gym days). NO OPEN TOE SANDALS, FLIP-FLOPS, OR SLIPPER LIKE SHOES.
All students currently receive free breakfast and lunch. Please adhere to the following regarding snacks. Pre-K-Snacks will be provided starting September 15th. Please send in a healthy snack and water with their name on them until that date. Kindergarten please- Please send in a healthy snack and water daily with their name on them.
If your child rides the bus/van it is essential that you inform your child's teacher so that the proper procedures can be put into place.
When school is closed or if there is an early dismissal, you will receive a message via School Messenger. Announcements will be made using School Messenger, FOCUS, Social Media Platforms, the EOSD Website and Gibson Academy's Website.
